Geekzilla Tech: The Best Tech And Gadgets For Geeks
There are a lot of tech gadgets out there that cater to geeks, but one of the most popular items these days are smart watches. Smart watches are perfect for geeks because they allow you to stay connected to your digital world without having to carry around a phone or tablet. Plus, they’re just plain cool.

There are a ton of different smart watches on the market, but our favorite is the Samsung Gear S3. This watch has everything a geek could want, including GPS, a heart rate monitor, and built-in LTE so you can always stay connected. Plus, it looks great and has a rotating bezel that makes navigation a breeze.

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Pebble Time Round is a great choice. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the Gear S3, but it’s still a very capable smart watch that will keep you connected without breaking the bank.

Tablets
Tablets are one of the most popular gadgets among geeks, and for good reason. They’re portable, powerful, and can do just about anything a laptop can do (and sometimes more).

If you’re in the market for a new tablet, you’ve got plenty of options to choose from. Here are a few of the best tablets for geeks, based on our experience.

Apple iPad: The iPad is still the king of tablets, and is our top pick for geeks. It’s fast, has a great selection of apps, and is just overall a pleasure to use.

Google Pixel C: The Pixel C is Google’s answer to the iPad Pro, and it’s a great option for geeks who want a powerful tablet that runs Android. It’s also got a great keyboard accessory if you want to use it as a pseudo-laptop.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4: The Surface Pro 4 is another great option for those who want a tablet that can double as a laptop. It runs Windows 10, so you can run all your favorite Windows apps on it.

Computers
Computers are the lifeblood of Geekzilla Tech. From the best laptops and gaming PCs to the most powerful workstations, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’re a casual user or a power user, we can help you find the perfect machine for your needs.

Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is one of the hottest topics in tech right now, and for good reason. It has the potential to change the way we interact with computers and the world around us.

There are a few different types of virtual reality systems available on the market. The most popular type is probably the Oculus Rift, which was developed by Facebook-owned Oculus VR. The Rift uses a PC to power its virtual reality experiences, and it comes with a pair of controllers that let you interact with the virtual world.

If you’re looking for a more affordable virtual reality option, you might want to check out Google’s Daydream View. The Daydream View is a mobile-based system that works with select Android phones. It’s not as powerful as the Rift, but it’s a lot more affordable.

Whatever type of virtual reality system you choose, you’re sure to have an amazing experience.

When to choose a Laptop or Tablet?
There are a lot of tech-savvy people out there who can’t decide whether to get a laptop or a tablet. Both have their pros and cons, but it really depends on what you’re looking for in a device. Let’s break it down:

Laptops:
– More powerful than tablets, so better for things like gaming, graphic design, video editing, etc.

– Can run more complex apps and programs.

– Typically have a longer battery life.

– Have a physical keyboard, which can be more comfortable for long periods of typing.

Tablets:
– More portable and lightweight than laptops.

– Touchscreen is usually more user-friendly than a trackpad or mouse.

– Some tablets can be used with a stylus, which can be great for artists or note-takers.

– Many tablets now have built-in cameras, making them great for photography and videography on the go.

How to Choose the Best Computer for Gaming?
With so many different types of computers on the market, it can be hard to know which one is the best for gaming. Here are a few things to consider when making your decision:

1. Processor: The processor is the heart of the computer, and it’s important to choose one that can handle the demands of gaming. Look for a processor with a high clock speed and multiple cores.

2. Graphics card: A good graphics card is essential for smooth and realistic graphics. Choose one with a high memory capacity and a fast clock speed.

3. Memory: Gaming computers need plenty of RAM to run smoothly. 8GB is a good starting point, but 16GB or more is even better.

4. Storage: Games take up a lot of space, so you’ll need a spacious hard drive or solid state drive. 1TB is a good minimum, but 2TB or more is even better.

5. cooling system: A good cooling system is essential for preventing your computer from overheating during intense gaming sessions. Look for a system with multiple fans and ample airflow.

Nine widely used WiFi routers had 226 vulnerabilities.

Even when using the most recent firmware, security researchers examined nine widely used WiFi routers and discovered a total of 226 possible vulnerabilities in them.

Millions of people use the tested routers, which are made by Asus, AVM, D-Link, Netgear, Edimax, TP-Link, Synology, and Linksys.

The TP-Link Archer AX6000, which has 32 problems, and the Synology RT-2600ac, which has 30 security flaws, are the two devices with the most vulnerabilities.

The examination process
In partnership with CHIP magazine, researchers at IoT Inspector conducted security tests with a focus on models primarily used by small businesses and residential users.

According to Florian Lukavsky, CTO & Founder at IoT Inspector, “vendors provided them with current models, which were upgraded to the newest firmware version, for Chip’s router review.”

“IoT Inspector automatically examined the firmware versions and searched for more than 5,000 CVEs and other security flaws.”

Although not all defects posed the same risk, the researchers discovered a few widespread issues that impacted the majority of the evaluated models:

The firmware contains an outdated Linux kernel.
stale VPN and multimedia features
over-reliance on BusyBox’s earlier iterations
weak default passwords like “admin” are used
Hardcoded credentials are present in plain text.
Changing the router’s default password when configuring it for the first time is one of the most crucial steps you can take to secure it, according to Jan Wendenburg, CEO of IoT Inspector.

Whether an IoT device is used at home or in a corporate network, changing the password upon first use and turning on automatic updates must be regular procedure, according to Wendenburg.

In addition to manufacturer-introduced vulnerabilities, utilising an IoT device with the adage “plug, play, and forget” poses the greatest risk.
